Service Description
Intermediate Handgun Skills bridges foundational instruction and practical, real world pistol handling. This full day, range focused course advances holster and presentation work, trigger mechanics, rapid multiple shot delivery, reloads, malfunction clearance, movement and shooting, target to target transitions, and one hand shooting through graduated dry fire and live fire exercises. Who it’s for Designed for students who have completed a basic safety course and a fundamentals handgun course from a verifiable instructor or school and who are ready to move beyond foundational drills. What you’ll practice High value, scenario informed drills focus on presentation speed, sighting consistency under stress, controlled multiple shot strings, tactical reloads, immediate action for malfunctions, movement to cover, and target transitions. Continuous assessment provides individualized coaching to accelerate skill gains. Course format & requirements Full day classroom and range instruction. Bring a quality full size or compact semi auto centerfire pistol (no micro or pocket pistols), a minimum of three magazines, outside the waistband holster, magazine pouch, sturdy belt, eye/ear protection, appropriate footwear and clothing, and 350 rounds of ammunition. Students must be proficient in basic loading/unloading and slide manipulation. Full attendance is required. Outcome Participants gain measurable improvements in speed, accuracy, reload efficiency, malfunction handling, and dynamic shooting skills—preparing them for advanced defensive or tactical training.
